Red Rocks Climbing

This is an excellent guidebook for the famous Red Rock Canyon area near Las Vegas, Nevada.  Over 100 of the best rock climbs are included that mostly range in difficulty from 5.4 to 5.11, and most of these are on the highest quality sandstone in the area.  Areas covered include Windy Canyon, Mud Spring Canyon, Black Velvet Canyon, Whiskey Peak, Black Velvet Wall, First Creek Canyon, Oak Creek Canyon, Eagle Wall, Black Orpheus Buttress, Solar Slab Wall, Pine Creek & Juniper Canyons, Cloud Tower, Jackrabbit Buttress, Rose Tower, Mescalito, Willow Springs Area, White Rock Spring, Angel Food Wall, and Calico Hills.  Climbs range from the long classic multi-pitch routes to crag climbs, and protection varies from highly bolted to natural gear.  Every route in the book has been personally climbed by author Greg Barnes.
